Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our team, responsible for coordinating and executing audit engagements with a primary focus on Australian business operations. This role involves strategic planning, budgeting, and time management to ensure seamless execution and adherence to department standards. Your input will be invaluable in driving operational efficiency and enhancing internal control environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert guidance on identifying key risks, assessing control design, and evaluating operating effectiveness within local businesses.
- Manage end-to-end audit engagements, overseeing staff performance, reviewing workpapers, and ensuring timely completion of findings and recommendations.
- Maintain strict adherence to established timelines and Audit Services Department policies and standards.
- Collaborate with junior team members, providing mentorship and support to foster a culture of employee participation, teamwork, and open communication.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Australia, APAC, and globally.
- Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry trends, contributing to continuous monitoring and knowledge-sharing efforts.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements and Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Senior Audit Manager or similar role in a financial institution, regulator, or consulting firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in internal audit principles and methodologies, including auditing standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with APRA prudential standards and regulatory risk management, preferably within asset servicing and/or asset management environments.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong report-writing, workpaper documentation, project, and time management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CA, CISA, CFA, ACAMS) and data analytics experience are highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for bonuses, benefits, and opportunities for career growth and professional development within our organization.
