About the Role

We are seeking casual workers to support vulnerable young people in various locations.

This position is part of a Specialist Homelessness Service and A Place to Go Program, providing accommodation and support services for homeless or at-risk youth.

The Therapeutic Youth Worker will deliver residential supports promoting emotional, social, and behavioral needs of young people.

Key Objectives
  • Provide trauma-informed care and support services that achieve positive outcomes;
  • Implement therapeutic routines and individual plans for young people;
  • Participate in team meetings and case review meetings.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in youth services, residential care, or supported accommodation;
  • Understanding of youth homelessness and ability to work with challenging behaviors;
  • Ability to implement case plan goals for young people;
