Procurement Director

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead the Purchasing team and oversee the full procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Authorise supply contracts, corrective actions, and supplier engagement strategies in line with company standards.
- Oversee tender preparation, proposals, contract execution, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Drive vendor analysis and cost reduction initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Manage ingredient sourcing for manufacturing, ensuring accuracy in pricing, stock levels, and timeframes.
- Implement reporting mechanisms for raw material usage and procurement metrics.
- Conduct technical and process analysis to identify improvements, advising senior management on strategies.
- Develop innovative procurement tools and systems.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the Purchasing team.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in purchasing and logistics.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in projecting commodity usage and financial outcomes through strong data and analytical skills.
- Strong business, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and leadership capabilities.
