Job Opportunity: Support Staff

We are seeking skilled professionals to support a young man in the Southern Suburbs, who has complex medical and behavioural needs.

  • Certificate III or IV in Disabilities (or extensive experience with a willingness to pursue formal qualifications)
  • Physical strength and fitness
  • Strong communication skills
  • Common sense and practical problem-solving ability
  • Reliability and commitment
  • A proactive attitude—ready to jump in and support the family as needed
  • Experience with individuals who have challenging behaviors and complex medical needs

About the Client:

The client has a Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) with multiple restrictive practices and various complex medical conditions.

What We Offer:

Ongoing support with a mentor or family member by your side at all times, supervision, training, and guidance, monthly team meetings for feedback and collaboration.

Licences/Certifications required:

First Aid Certification, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Child Safe Environments training, Driver's Licence.

Training Certificates required:

NDIS Orientation Module, NDIS New worker induction Module, NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals, NDIS Supporting Effective Communication.
