Pool Maintenance Position Overview

This role involves overseeing all water features on-site, performing repairs to rotating and stationary equipment related to water features or swimming pools, and conducting regular water chemical and meter readings. The ideal candidate will possess a diving certification, have strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues, and hold a valid driver's license.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain pool areas by removing scum lines, sweeping and vacuuming the pool deck, and cleaning decorative fountains.
  • Mix chemicals, replenish chemical mixes as needed, and ensure personal protective gear is worn at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining all water features on property and perform necessary repairs to rotating and stationary equipment.
  • Conduct regular water chemical and meter readings, documenting entries in logs as required.
  • Provide backup support for the pool mechanic when needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A valid diving license is mandatory.
  • The ability to communicate confidently and professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • A current and valid driver's license.
  • PREFERRED: Experience in maintenance and upkeep of commercial pools, including plant rooms, water features, equipment maintenance, and pool cleaning.
