Clinical Wound Care Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced healthcare professional to lead the delivery of high-quality wound care services across the continuum from hospital admission to community follow-up.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert wound care management, assessing, coordinating, educating and managing patients with acute and chronic wounds.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert wound care management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assess, coordinate, educate and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Lead the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care across the continuum from hospital admission to community follow-up.
- Play a key role in clinical leadership, staff education and continuous improvement initiatives.
- You are a Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in wound care and at least three years of experience in wound care.
- You are a confident clinician and natural educator who thrives in a collaborative team and seeks better patient outcomes.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience in the specified post-graduate qualification or equivalent.
- Eligibility to drive in NSW with a current unrestricted driver's licence and willingness to travel for work purposes may involve long-distance driving.
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to mentor and educate staff at all levels.
- A passion for delivering safe patient-centred wound care.
