Expert Wound Care Specialist

Seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in wound management.
About the RoleThis role involves providing expert wound care management across inpatient and outpatient settings, assessing, coordinating, educating, and managing patients with acute and chronic wounds. You will play a key role in clinical leadership, staff education, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive wound care management, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to wound care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience in wound care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and educate staff at all levels.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering safe, patient-centered wound care.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including:
- $57.11 - $58.99 Per Hour + Super + Salary Packaging.
- Incentives: Up to $10,000 in the first 12 months plus up to $5,000 each year thereafter under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
- Monthly Allocated Days Off for full-time staff.
- 6 weeks annual leave for eligible full-time nurses.
- Paid parental leave for eligible employees.
- Salary packaging options up to $11,600 plus novated leasing.
