About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Security Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in wards, portering patients within the facility/campus, undertaking cleaning duties, and security duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general assistance in wards and patient transport
  • Undertake cleaning duties and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Conduct security duties as required, including responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in a health care environment
  • Current NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum)
  • Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position
