Speech Pathologist Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Speech Pathologist in our Aged Care Services team.

You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive assessments, tailored treatments, and meaningful interventions that support independence, participation, and quality of life for older clients.

This diverse role spans both hospital and community settings, giving you the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships while supporting smooth transitions of care.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in aged care and/or rehabilitation, exceptional time management and organisational skills, and a passion for embracing feedback and continuous learning.

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, tailored treatments, and meaningful interventions to support independence, participation, and quality of life for older clients.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, fostering open communication and collaboration.

Additional Information
  • *Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract.
  • An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part-time vacancies.
  • The successful applicant will be required to meet the requirements outlined in the NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015: Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases for Category A positions prior to offer.
