A dynamic opportunity awaits an experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at a prestigious resort. As part of the NRMA Parks & Resorts team, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional dining experiences that showcase the best of modern Australian cuisine.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Chef to join our resort's culinary team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performing kitchen teams, with a passion for delivering outstanding food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a dynamic kitchen team with clarity, direction, and enthusiasm, ensuring seamless execution of menus and events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative menu concepts and promotions
  • Maintain accurate inventory management, cost control, and waste reduction strategies
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Formal qualification in commercial cookery or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior leadership roles within high-volume restaurants or resorts
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase staff retention
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent leadership and coaching abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
