Key Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Profile Planning oversees a team of direct reports in financial and strategic modelling, focusing on key models for business metrics, workforce planning, and cost allocation.

This role requires an experienced advisor with expertise in strategic analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling to deliver insights supporting executive decision-making, budgeting, risk, and ROI assessment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of 2 direct reports in financial and strategic modelling, promoting effective collaboration and results-driven work.
  2. Oversee the development and maintenance of critical financial models related to business metrics, workforce planning, and cost allocation.
  3. Ensure seamless end-to-end modelling processes to assess and report significant financial impacts.
  4. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and expert opinion.
  5. Provide authoritative expertise in strategic analysis, forecasting, and scenario modelling, driving informed decision-making.
  6. Deliver actionable insights to support executive decision-making, budgeting, risk management, and ROI assessment.
  7. Stay current with analytics tools, modelling systems, and emerging technology trends to drive innovation.
  8. Apply a hands-on, process-driven approach to tackle complex modelling challenges and drive results.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization, fostering collaborative working environments.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience at the senior level in finance, leveraging expertise in complex, fast-changing organizations.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards, with deep technical expertise in handling large datasets and financial systems.
  3. Proven leadership abilities, demonstrated through project management and change delivery in large-scale transformations.
  4. Ability to lead and build high-performing teams in commercially focused settings, driving business growth and success.
  5. Excellent relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders, facilitating open communication and collaboration.
  6. High business acumen, combined with a continuous improvement mindset and strategic planning skills to drive forward-thinking solutions.
