Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, managing the month-end and year-end processes, and preparing and distributing payment summaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain master data, pay records and files with precision and accuracy.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end processes to ensure timely and efficient payment processing.
  • Control the payment and reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, group tax, PAYG, PAYE, KiwiSaver, work cover premiums, insurance and authorised payroll deductions.
  • Calculate and remit Superannuation Guarantee Contribution and Salary Sacrifice payments with diligence and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software systems such as UKG and Affinity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex payroll issues.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
