Dietitian Opportunity in Disability Nutrition

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Accelerate Nutrition, a private Dietetics practice based in Melbourne. As a Dietitian with our team, you will work with a diverse range of NDIS clients, building your clinical skills in a rewarding and expanding field.
This is a contractor position with flexible hours, allowing you to choose your days of work and manage your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to see clients in their homes, group homes, or day programs, with travel time compensated. Option to provide Telehealth consultations as appropriate.
Your caseload will include adults living with a disability, with a focus on weight management, chronic disease management, gastrointestinal issues, and other nutrition-related concerns. You will receive ongoing support from our experienced and friendly Dietetics team, to encourage you to reach your full potential as a Dietitian and achieve your professional goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload, including weight management, chronic disease management, gastrointestinal issues, and other nutrition-related concerns.
- Provide personalized consultations and meal plans for clients with a range of food, nutrition, and medical concerns.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with the client's multidisciplinary team to ensure best practice and integrated client care.
- Assess and manage clients, providing dietetic advice and nutrition interventions that improve functional independence and quality of life.
- Tertiary qualification in Dietetics
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia
- National Police Check
- Working With Children Check
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Have own public indemnity and liability insurance (or willing to obtain)
- Have own ABN number
