Job Description: Compliance Lead

The Compliance Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a compliance framework for the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme. This will involve providing expert analysis and advice on regulatory, compliance, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a compliance framework for the ACCU Scheme.
  • Conducting compliance risk assessments and managing any issues with regulatory bodies.
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on compliance procedures.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of AFSL, AML/CTF, and environmental schemes, including carbon regulations.
  • Previous experience in a compliance role, preferably in financial services or environmental sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position based in Melbourne.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work in a hybrid environment, with some flexibility to work from home.
