Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering infrastructure upgrades that support safe and reliable tram services. This involves managing small to medium multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across track, power, signalling, and overhead.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Annual Works Plans, Major Capital Improvements, and Enhanced Renewal projects
  • Supporting service delivery and maintenance teams to meet contractual commitments with the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP)
  • Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution
Required Skills and Qualifications

For this position, we are seeking candidates with:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering and membership with Engineers Australia (chartered status preferred)
  • Experience in engineering or rail transport environments
  • Knowledge of public and private sector contracting arrangements

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management experience and have a background in power distribution and traction systems. Expertise in electrical design, commissioning, and protection systems (AC/DC) is also highly valued.
