Senior HVAC Assembly Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior HVAC Assembly professional. This role requires advanced proficiency in HVAC assembly, with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

Job Summary:

This position is ideal for individuals who have mastered assembly techniques and are ready to take on leadership responsibilities or complex assembly tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors and leads to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of HVAC units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion safety procedures and adhere to them strictly
  • Act as a subject matter expert in HVAC construction assembly within 6 months of hire
  • Lead complex assembly projects, ensuring precision and efficiency
  • Develop and implement best practices for assembly processes
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations
  • Actively participates and promotes hazard and near miss reporting
  • Provides technical expertise and guidance to resolve challenging assembly issues
  • Responsible for thorough training of lower-level assemblers and completes training checklists

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or assembly of HVAC units
  • Experience leading projects and teams required
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform job functions
