Job Title: HVAC Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC systems specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex assembly projects, ensuring precision and efficiency, developing and implementing best practices for assembly processes, and identifying gaps in training and suggesting fixes.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in HVAC assembly and leadership skills, with the ability to field questions from junior colleagues and stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

  • Champion safety procedures and adhere to them strictly.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in HVAC construction assembly within 6 months of hire, able to provide guidance and support to junior colleagues.
  • Lead complex assembly projects, ensuring precision and efficiency, develop and implement best practices for assembly processes, and identify gaps in training and suggest fixes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, actively participate in and promote hazard and near miss reporting, provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve challenging assembly issues, responsible for thorough training of junior colleagues, and complete training checklists.
  • Soft skills include clear communication, ability to give constructive and respectful feedback, maintain a positive attitude, encourage positivity in the team, and promote safety, quality, and company values daily.
  • Lead single unit projects with assistance from supervisors, measuring parts and adhering to production schedules.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in carpentry, construction, or assembly of HVAC units.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform job functions, including sitting, standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing, lifting 25-75 pounds, and team lifting as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines always.
