HVAC Senior Assembler Job Description

This role is ideal for experienced assemblers who are looking to take on more complex assembly tasks and mentor junior team members.

As an HVAC Senior Assembler, you will work closely with supervisors and leads to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of HVAC units.

  • You will champion safety procedures and adhere to them strictly, acting as a subject matter expert in HVAC construction assembly within 6 months of hire.

  • You will lead complex assembly projects, ensuring precision and efficiency, and develop and implement best practices for assembly processes.

  • You will stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, and actively participate and promote hazard and near miss reporting.

  • You will provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve challenging assembly issues, and be responsible for thorough training of lower-level assemblers and completes training checklists.

  • You will maintain a positive attitude, encourage positivity in the shop, and promote safety, quality, and company values daily.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in carpentry, construction, or assembly of HVAC units, and experience leading projects and teams. They will also have proficiency in using hand and power tools, ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings, excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, and physical stamina to perform job functions.
