Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our team in Brisbane.



About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.



Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards obtaining one.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Energy & Natural Resources industry is highly regarded.
