We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workplace Lawyer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned lawyer with expertise in employment, industrial relations and discrimination law.
- The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice and representation on workplace law matters, including employment disputes and discrimination complaints.
- They will work closely with the team to conduct their own matters with independence while also supporting more senior lawyers on complex cases.
Our team covers the full spectrum of workplace law, from industrial disputes to discrimination and harassment complaints. This means exposure to a wide variety of challenging, high-profile matters that have real impact across Queensland.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, strong research and analysis abilities, and excellent drafting and advocacy skills.
They will have a strong track record of delivering clear, practical advice to clients, and be able to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation on workplace law matters.
- Work independently on matters while also supporting more senior lawyers on complex cases.
- Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to deliver timely and effective service.

Requirements- At least 4 years' post-admission experience in employment, industrial relations or discrimination law.
- Strong legal research, analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent drafting and advocacy ability, with tribunal or court experience desirable.
- Effective communication skills, able to deliver clear, practical advice.
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to contribute to team capability and support peers.
