Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in maintaining the reliability and continuity of our factory. As a Maintenance and Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Manufacturing Reliability team at our Moorooka site.

The primary objective of this role is to manage maintenance coordination and activities at site to meet expectations on lines servicing and managing service protocols. This includes supervising daily work, work schedules, and CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).

You will provide regular communication and high-level customer support to the Leadership Production team, focusing on delivering high-quality service while achieving plant reliability. Additionally, you will provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise and manage all employees in the Maintenance Team.
  • Communicate directly with production and operations departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
  • Oversee asset care and prioritize issues effectively.
  • Develop, promote, and maintain constructive relationships with customers and stakeholders through quality customer service.
  • Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and coach employees to enhance competency, knowledge, and contribution of maintenance technicians.
  • Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
  • Evaluate departmental efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness, ensuring reliable results.
  • Ensure maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to accomplish the maintenance program safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
  • Monitor and oversee plant equipment and systems operation.
  • Continuously review and analyze the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems promptly, and identify opportunities for improvement.
