Job Title: Event Venue Security Coordinator
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security professional to join our team as an Event Venue Security Coordinator.
">The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property at large-scale events held at iconic venues in Sydney.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Monitor live operations using CCTV and integrated security systems during events, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
">- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and incidents, escalating where necessary.
">- Support emergency response coordination by relaying accurate information to ground teams and stakeholders.
">- Control access to restricted zones, ensuring only authorized personnel gain entry.
">- Log incidents and reports accurately, capturing essential details and maintaining accountability.
">- Maintain operational readiness by checking and managing essential equipment and systems.
">Requirements:
">- Hold a current NSW 1A Security Licence (minimum 12 months).
">- Possess previous experience as an Event Control Room Operator (CRO) - this is essential.
">- Demonstrate confidence operating in a fast-paced, live-event environment guided by SOPs and real-time updates.
">- Communicate clearly, remain composed under pressure, and work effectively in a team.
">- Be flexible and committed to working a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public events.
