The role of Marketplace Ecommerce Director is to oversee the growth of ecommerce offerings across Australia and New Zealand. This position is accountable for strategy and implementation of ecommerce initiatives on various platforms/marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement effective ecommerce campaigns that deliver high-quality results.
- Develop audits, scorecards, and use data to identify optimisation opportunities, including keyword research and media/advertising recommendations.
- Develop audits, scorecards, and use research and data to improve brand presence and SEO/REO across ecommerce marketplaces.
- Oversee Seller/Vendor Central operations, such as account health checks and product reviews analysis.
- Remain up-to-date with ecommerce industry trends, compile data into client-facing collateral, and adapt existing campaign strategies relevant to each brand.
- Participate in new business opportunities pertaining to marketplace ecommerce – commercially and strategically.
Requirements:
- Currently in a similar role in Performance Media/eCommerce or an excellent grasp of Performance Media (planning and buying).
- Experience conducting performance campaigns on ecommerce marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, eBay), utilizing search/sponsored advertising solutions.
- Passionate about data, analytics, and reporting.
- Have excellent attention to detail, well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Be self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Strong team management and influential experience, with proven abilities in mentoring, training, and developing high-performing teams.
