Job Overview:

The role of a Service Technician is pivotal in ensuring the optimal functioning of reverse vending machine installations and bulk processing equipment across Tasmania.

This position will focus on the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various equipment including conveyors, sensors, motors, and mobile communication systems. Frequent travel between locations is an essential aspect of this role, requiring a clean driving record and an appreciation for being on the road.

  • Equipment Servicing and Maintenance
  • Service Assignment and Fault Reporting
  • New Site Equipment Installation
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service
  • Identifying Areas of Improvement and Reporting to the Local Service Team
  • Equipment Cleaning and Sanitation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain installed equipment to ensure maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively report on service assignments and faults.
  • Install kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to partners and members of the public.
  • Analyze areas of potential improvement of products and report to the local service team.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Servicing and maintaining complex equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver's license required.
