About the Role

The Senior Town Planner will be responsible for leading a variety of projects across the UK, including commercial and industrial developments, retail and leisure schemes, residential projects, and environmental impact assessments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on planning matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members, promoting their professional development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
  • Proven track record of success in senior town planning roles, with a strong understanding of planning policies and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
