Visual Effects Programmer Sydney

We're seeking a skilled Visual Effects Programmer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced programmer with a passion for video games and interactive graphics.

As a Visual Effects Programmer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing visual effects for our upcoming game projects. You'll work closely with the art and design teams to create innovative and engaging visuals that bring our games to life.

  • Developing and optimizing visual effects pipelines using modern 3D graphics APIs such as Vulkan, Metal, or D3D12
  • Collaborating with the art team to create high-quality visual assets and animations
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to existing graphics and related game systems

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in low-level software development, including 2+ years in the video games industry or a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of C++ and STL programming languages
  • Experience with at least one modern graphics API (Vulkan, Metal, D3D12, etc.)
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and document your work
