Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a portfolio of Personal Injury Claims, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the sensitivities involved.
  • Conduct accurate reviews and evaluations of claims to guarantee that injured workers are awarded their appropriate benefits.
  • Engage in clear and concise communication with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize workflow to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Collaborate proactively with both internal teams and external partners to facilitate effective Case Management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to legislative authorities, employers, and injured workers.
  • Develop and monitor Injury Management Plans with claimants, employing open-ended questioning techniques to establish SMART goals tailored to their situations.
  • Ensure that practice outcomes align with current legislation, providing timely responses and efficient processing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Workers Compensation Claims, Portfolio Claims management, or Call Centre operations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team while delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on Quality Assurance.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proficient reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to show compassion and empathy towards customers.
  • Proven track record of building rapport with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Capacity to interpret complex information and devise appropriate actions.
  • High standards of written and verbal communication.
  • Effective case management skills in a busy work environment.
  • Strong time management abilities, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Resilience and capability to handle complex, sensitive, and challenging issues.
  • Experience in Allied Health is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire is a plus but not essential.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and time management skills, effectively managing all aspects of each claim while adhering to relevant legislation. A background in claims management, particularly within Workers Compensation, or experience in allied health is preferred.
