The Role

The Senior Clinical Lead (SCL) position is integral to our Community Health Services, reporting directly to the Manager of Community Health Services. This role involves collaboration with senior management to guide and enhance the performance of the Community Health Services Team. The SCL is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, in-home nursing care that is centered around the needs of clients, their families, and healthcare providers, while adhering to established clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Clinical Lead will manage a designated caseload and provide both internal and external clinical supervision to uphold quality assurance, accreditation, and various organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leading and managing healthcare teams effectively.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining high clinical standards in accordance with compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional time management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and meeting deadlines.
  • Innovative thinking and advanced problem-solving capabilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks to achieve strategic goals.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the relevant health authority.
  • Successful completion of a National Police Check.
  • Compliance with Working with Vulnerable People regulations.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
