Network Chapter Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Chapter Lead to join our team at ING Bank N.V. This is a leadership role within the Private Cloud - Infrastructure Tribe, designed to provide accountability for the management of the related services and support an agile working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver the next generation technology to support the Bank's services to our customers, including Global ING and cloud technologies.
- Manage end-to-end Network solution from ING, from wireless to express routes.
- People management, supporting your team to deliver projects and initiatives.
- Be responsible for Network IT Health and BAU processes (vendor support, system maintenance, incident and problem management), risk, security, and LCM of the technology assets.
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation across all technologies under your domain, ensuring knowledge is shared.
- Represent the team and the tribe in engaging with other technology and business stakeholders to define and deliver critical projects.
- Track and prioritise BAU workloads and project work to ensure delivery on time and within quality.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Network technology; including Firewalls Palo Alto, Advanced routing (BGP, OSPF), F5 Load Balancers and WAF, Cisco routing switching, and wireless.
- Experience leading a team of engineers.
- Familiarity with mission-critical environments and high-performance networks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritise to achieve exceptional outcomes while working with moving targets and be proficient in scheduling releases based on urgency/priority.
