Job Title: Executive Director, Tax Policy and StrategyWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director, Personal and Indirect Tax.Job Description:The Treasury is responsible for developing and implementing tax policies that support economic growth and stability. We are seeking a talented individual to assist in shaping policy advice and assisting in the implementation of Commonwealth Government reforms.Key Responsibilities:Assist in providing policy advice to government on public policy issues, including tax policy; Assist in preparing reports, Cabinet submissions, briefing for Ministers and senior officials, and other correspondence;Develop and maintain productive relationships with other government agencies and stakeholders in the private sector, industry, and academia.The Role:This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping policy advice and assisting in implementing Commonwealth Government reforms. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior officials and ministers to develop and implement tax policies that support economic growth and stability.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, experience in public policy, including taxation, and/or an interest in not-for-profits regulation.
