Bitumen Tanker Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bitumen tanker maintenance technician to join our team.
- Maintain and repair bitumen tanks ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections diagnose mechanical faults and perform preventative maintenance on tank systems (burners pumps valves hydraulic components).
- Maintain heating systems to keep bitumen at optimal temperature during transport and unloading.
- Carry out welding and fabrication repairs monitor and calibrate temperature and pressure controls ensuring safety environmental and transport compliance.
- Work in workshop and on-site as required to support operational readiness and minimize downtime.
About You:
- You will have a strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with burner systems and pipework is essential.
- You should be proficient in welding and fabrication skills.
- You will be responsible for handling hazardous materials especially hot bitumen safely.
- Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance is a must.
