Clinical Collector Position

Laverty Pathology is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join their team in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service. As a key member of the hospital team, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients across various wards and departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with doctors, nurses, and patients to understand their needs and requirements
- Collect samples with care and attention, including difficult bleeds and AGBs
- Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience in Phlebotomy or a nursing background
- Demonstrated knowledge in Phlebotomy, ideally with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection
- Excellent liaison and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and a patient-centered approach
- Organized with high attention to detail
- Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship, or a valid visa with permission to work
