Job Description
">We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pathology Collector to join our team. As a Pathology Collector, you will be responsible for collecting patient samples and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospital environment.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Liaising with doctors, nurses, and patients to understand their needs and requirements.">
- Collecting blood and non-blood samples across different wards and areas.">
- Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will possess:
">Excellent Communication Skills:
">You will have excellent liaison and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and a patient-centred approach.
">Organisation and Attention to Detail:
">You will be organised, with high attention to detail, able to multitask and work well under pressure.
">Qualifications and Certifications:
">A Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a nursing background is highly desirable.
">Other Requirements:
">You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work. Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role.
