Coding Instructor for Kids

At Code Camp, we're passionate about empowering young minds through technology and creativity.

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Coding Instructor to join our team during the school holidays. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and patient individual who can inspire kids aged 5-12 to explore coding, AI, animation, video game building, and more.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience or interest in working with children (ages 5-12)
  • Passion for technology and creativity
  • Trustworthiness, independence, punctuality, and reliability
  • Ability to work full days during the school holidays (April) and ongoingly throughout the year
  • Confidence speaking in front of a group, enthusiasm, and good problem-solving skills
  • Able to travel to various camp venues in your region

The position involves delivering structured lesson plans to small classes of primary-aged children, helping them create their own games, animations, designs, or digital projects. Our camps run for 2-3 consecutive weekdays, 8am - 4pm.

We offer paid training, support from qualified teachers and online tech teams, and the opportunity for ongoing casual work in our After-School Programs and future holiday camps. Staff must supply their own laptop and HDMI adapter.
