Chemical Recovery Boiler Operator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Recovery Boiler Operator to join our team in Tumut, Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to sustainability initiatives and supporting a supportive team culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor the safe, efficient, and effective functioning of plant and equipment within the Pulp Mill, including Digester, Fibreline, Recausticising, Lime kiln, chemical recovery, power/steam system, and utilities.
  • Utilize strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a high-risk plant environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for learning new skills and attitude where no job is too small.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification in Pulp Making, Power Plant Operations, or Electrical Engineering as a minimum.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Recovery Boiler Operator in a Pulp Mill, Refinery, or similar complex high-risk plant environment.
  • Boiler and Turbine ticket highly advantageous.
