Lead the Charge to a Greener World – Become Our New Maintenance Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Garden Life Landscapes Pty Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a crew to maintain top-notch landscaping for our residential and commercial clients, ensuring every garden looks its best.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading a team of landscapers to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and soft-landscaping features.
  • Planning and organizing daily tasks, coordinating with your team to ensure efficient and effective work practices.
  • Mentoring and training new team members in horticulture techniques and safety protocols, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Performing garden and lawn maintenance tasks, including planting, mulching, and installing garden features, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Driving company vehicles to job sites and ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications & Experience: A Certificate 3 in Horticulture and at least 2 years of industry experience. A current police check or the ability to obtain one.
  • Soft-Landscaping Skills: Experience in soft-landscaping is desirable. You should have a thorough understanding of plant species and be able to create visually appealing outdoor spaces.
  • Attention to Detail: You are methodical in your work, balancing efficiency with high-quality outcomes.
  • Communication & Leadership: Exceptional communication skills and a positive leadership style – clients and team members alike value your clear, encouraging interactions.
  • Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of landscape maintenance practices, safety protocols, and work health and safety legislation.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: You are confident in overcoming unforeseen challenges and always find a smart, efficient solution.
  • Team Spirit: You lead by example and know how to motivate your team to achieve great results.
