AIA is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the Delivery Capability team, this role will be responsible for leading and delivering business and systems analysis services associated with tactical and Enterprise projects.

About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst will lead and execute end-to-end business analysis activities within projects and programs of work, working closely with key stakeholders to plan, scope, manage, and define business needs.

  • Assessing and determining business problems and opportunities to apply fit-for-purpose analysis approaches, plans, methodology, and practices.
  • Leading, managing, and executing end-to-end analysis activities, deliverables, and outcomes, ensuring the delivery of analysis activities by other practitioners.
  • Collaborating across business, technology, and operational support teams to design and implement agreed changes to work practices, processes, and systems.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the Analysis Community of Practice at AIA, generating community and stakeholder buy-in, promoting, and ensuring the value and benefits of the Analysis CoE are understood.
  • Developing project analysis plans, identifying project problems, and opportunities for improvement.
About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Significant working experience in Business Analysis, leading and delivering Business Analysis services in large and complex projects.
  • Experience working within a professional enterprise project delivery function, in a similar or medium-large sized organisation, is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated project delivery acumen and significant experience in the delivery of Business Analysis services within a professional enterprise change/project delivery function.
  • Experience in delivering change via planned (waterfall) and Agile-driven project management methodologies and governance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to generate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within the Insurance or Financial Services industry is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
