About the Role

  • This is a Mechanical Assembly position where you will be responsible for completing tasks in first-run production.
  • You will work with manufacturing instructions, engineering drawings and quality standards to complete vehicle assembly.
  • This role involves reworking tasks such as fitting protection plates and electronic subassemblies.
  • Vehicle build tasks include assembly from hull to finished vehicle, both mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • You will assist with vehicle movements within the facility and perform crane operation and lifting tasks.
  • Maintain safe and efficient storage of required parts, tools and equipment.
  • Conduct self and work in accordance with site specific WH&S requirements.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings, manuals and technical documents.
  • A high level of motivation, initiative and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to travel interstate or overseas if necessary for short training periods.
  • Eligibility to obtain Australian Government Security Clearance.
