Engineering Assurance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Engineering Assurance Officer.
The ideal candidate will be an integral member of a small audit and assurance team, responsible for coordinating and performing engineering assurance activities.
As a key contributor to the E&T Domain Functional Lead's team, you will work independently with reasonable autonomy and accountability to achieve outcomes.
You will have demonstrable experience in building and sustaining effective relationships with team members, management and stakeholders, tailoring communication style and language according to the audience.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of Technical Regulatory Frameworks (TRFs) and standards of practice; and have an in-depth knowledge of the internal audit process.
You will contribute to the strategic review of Engineering Management Systems in Joint Systems Domain (JSD) in the areas of strategic and business planning, performance measurement and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform engineering assurance activities
- Contribute to the strategic review of Engineering Management Systems in Joint Systems Domain (JSD)
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members, management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities
- Knowledge and experience in Governance and Assurance activities
- Excellent computer literacy and organisational and critical thinking skills
