Valuation Expertise - Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Manager to join our team of experts in valuation and economic advisory services.

  • This role involves working with clients across various industries to provide expert advice on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our clients to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading small project teams to deliver high-quality valuations for various purposes, including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting, and disputes.
  2. Taking ownership of project delivery within each team, responsible for managing and preparing valuation reports that may include assessment of strategic options for transformation initiatives and detailed financial modelling and analysis.
  3. Thinking critically and identifying issues to propose strategies related to the advice being provided.
  4. Maintaining positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and other EY project teams and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 3 to 7 years of related work experience.
  • Experience utilizing various valuation techniques and methodologies, such as market comparables and discounted cash flow, for different purposes.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software is preferred.
  • Direct experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is desired.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
