Job Role Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Support carers in all aspects of life, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the children in their care.
  • Evaluate and assess the needs of children and carers, working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Child Safety Services, community agencies, and local elders to ensure seamless support.
  • Provide on-call services through a scheduled roster, responding to the needs of children and carers at any time.
  • Identify training and development needs for carers, guaranteeing they have the necessary skills to meet the unique requirements of the children in their care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection), accompanied by significant experience in a similar field.
