Job Opportunity: Commercial Interior Design Project Specialist

A leading design practice in Australia is seeking a talented Commercial Interior Design Project Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on award-winning and critically acclaimed projects across various typologies, enhancing your portfolio with experience in health projects.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and communicating clearly with internal and external teams, directing work efforts of others, developing detailed design concepts, producing contract documents, interpreting ordinances, and interpreting client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Direct and manage work efforts of junior designers
  • Develop and implement detailed design concepts and strategies
  • Produce and review contract documents and technical specifications
  • Interpret and apply local building codes and regulations
  • Assist in managing and coordinating project schedules and timelines

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in interior design or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial interior design
  • Experience working on health projects
  • Proficiency in Revit and other design software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
