Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement medication safety initiatives, collaborating with pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff to promote safe medication practices.
  • Lead the Safe Use of Medicines Committee, overseeing governance processes and contributing to incident reviews and policy development.
  • Support NSQHS Standard 4 compliance, participating in clinical leadership activities and promoting a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
  • Engage with patients, carers, and consumers to strengthen their involvement in medication safety initiatives.
