The Opportunity

As an advisor, you’ll help customers unlock value from their investments and shape their security roadmap.

The Challenge

This role focuses on driving business outcomes, improving risk posture, and delivering tangible results.

You’ll build credibility with C-level decision-makers, positioning your organisation as a market leader by delivering enterprise-grade thinking.

With a national remit across Australia and New Zealand, you’ll influence strategy and execution while working alongside the sales team to provide guidance in expanding relationships and pursuing new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisory: Lead executive conversations on security and risk.
  • Customer Growth: Collaborate with Account Managers to uncover and qualify security opportunities and assess customer readiness.
  • Value Realisation: Help customers maximise ROI and define security roadmaps.
  • Partner Ecosystem: Strengthen relationships with vendors to drive co-sell opportunities.
  • Engagement: Lead workshops and discovery sessions to uncover pain points and business challenges.
  • Enablement & Leadership: Educate sales teams and align plans with business objectives.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent your organisation at industry events and showcase expertise.

Requirements:

  • A proven background in B2B solution sales with significant experience engaging mid-market to enterprise customers.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in the IT industry with at least 8 years in sales, consultancy, or solution sales roles.
  • Demonstrated success selling complex offerings that deliver tangible business outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and budgets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of the IT solution sales lifecycle.
  • Awareness of client business and technical requirements.
  • Infrastructure certifications (highly regarded).
