Full-Time Line Setter Role in Beverage Production

Join a leading beverage production company in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne as a Full-Time Line Setter. This role is ideal for an experienced bottling or canning lines setter looking to enhance their skills for major Australian wine brands and distilleries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead production line and configure machines during changeovers to optimize efficiency.
  • Conduct routine Quality Control Checks to ensure product meets customer specifications.
  • Create scheduling plans to minimize downtime and maximize plant availability.
  • Partner with maintenance fitters for reactive and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to reduce changeover downtime, optimize productivity, and ensure line performance.

They have experienced rapid growth by utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and in-house specialists to ensure high-quality, cost-effective bottling. Additionally, they offer dry goods options to streamline bottling processes and provide savings through bulk purchasing.

Requirements:
  • Trade qualification or experience in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
  • Beverage manufacturing experience within wine bottling, canning lines, RTD beverages, or beer.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform under pressure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to create and implement long-term solutions.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and proactive in identifying and correcting hazards.
