Communication Specialist

">Overview of the Role

The successful candidate will develop and implement innovative communication strategies to promote the organization's work in the Pacific region.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee communication plans for the Regional Delegation in the Pacific.
  • Create tools and materials for operational communication, community engagement, and public and digital communication.
  • Identify, create, and coordinate content collection and produce communication materials such as social media posts, photo galleries, videos, and webcasts.
  • Organize events and exhibitions to promote the organization and its work.
  • Support communication-related training and coaching for staff members.
  • Maintain and improve networks of relationships related to matters of interest to the organization.
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as communications, political science, international relations, or journalism.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a field relevant to communication and/or prevention.
  • Strong understanding of the organization's work and the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
