Job Description

The role of a Nurse is crucial in the healthcare sector at Sydney Local Health District. This position entails providing patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.

  • Nurses must assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • They provide high-quality patient care in accordance with NSW Health policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Working closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, this position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • At least 12 months acute care nursing experience.
  • ED experience preferred but not essential.
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
