Transport Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be involved in high-profile projects and take the next step in your career by progressing towards managing projects supported by respected industry leaders while continuing to develop your technical skills.

  • Conduct intersection analysis and/or traffic modelling to identify optimal solutions for complex transportation challenges.
  • Analyse signal timing, parking and traffic data to inform strategic decisions and improve transport systems.
  • Traffic engineering design, including swept path assessments, site access and car parking layout reviews, devising intersection upgrades and road safety improvements that benefit communities and businesses alike.
  • Undertake intersection and corridor studies to provide actionable insights and recommendations for transport planners and decision-makers.
  • Document traffic impact assessments (TIAs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare proposals, technical reports and presentations to communicate complex ideas and solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations with support from experienced professionals.

To succeed in this role, you must possess high-quality technical abilities in the traffic engineering and transport planning discipline, ideally with experience in development assessment. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential, along with 2–6 years of experience in Transportation Engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in traffic engineering and transport planning, are critical. Additionally, proficiency with traffic modelling software (e.g., SIDRA, VISSIM, AutoTurn or similar) and excellent communication, time management, and prioritisation skills are required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive, self-starting approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
