Job Overview

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Lead to oversee the delivery of new build projects from pre-construction to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture and promote open communication.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in construction project management, with a focus on new build projects.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
