Nurse Unit Manager Assistant

Overview

Ramsay Health Care is seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our leadership team. This role is for a clinical leader.

This opportunity will allow you to work in a dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical and leadership skills.

About the Role

As a member of our clinical leadership team, you will review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Nurse Unit Manager. Your role includes clinical aptitude, dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide high-quality care to patients.

About You

To succeed in this role, you must display strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting. You will have a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Provide clinical aptitude, dynamic planning and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Post graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing
  • Any clinical leadership experience or qualification will be highly regarded
  • Current clinical experience working in acute surgical services
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development

Requirements
  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases as appropriate to the role
